983-2865-92-1 This is an inspiring story of a poverty stricken village in arid western India and its miraculous transformation to prosperity and beauty under the shadow of an ancient love affair. The book has recently been released as an ebook by eloka.com. A strong environmental message of ‘grow more trees' runs through the book and probably explains why the author has chosen the ebook route. It is the sort of book many traditional publishers would have loved to publish and promote simply because it is composed in a totally different style from most book appearing in the market It is the story of a man who is forced to hide as a fugitive as a result of an unfortunate accident. Unforeseen forces bring him to the village to fulfill an old prophecy concerning the village. The story is composed in classical narrative style. In spite of the mystic undercurrents that run through the tale the events that unfold are strongly rooted in realism. It is a story worth reading.
