Unusually good stand-up from Mr. Cross, a veteran of several TV sketch comedy endeavors and now of the Fox series "Arrested Development." His brand of comedy is pretty cerebral compared to the usual fare you get from the legions of Jerry Seinfeld wannabes. Part of what makes this stuff so funny to me is that he seems to be one of only a handful of comedians who have such a deep distaste for the whole God/Bush/war demographic, and all of its attendant bullshit. It seems to me that there is really a small percentage of Americans who are willing and able to point out the absurdity in that type of lifestyle, and Mr. Cross capitalizes on it most effectively. Great to listen to during those times in life when you find yourself surrounded by a lot of brain-dead right-wing suburbanites.
