Ever wonder what inspired the guys from Rush to form a band? Here it is. Cover songs from the 60's performed by Rush with the typical hard rock sound that one usually associates to the early years of the Canadian power trio. Although it's not original tunes, it gives a Rush fan some insight as to the origins of the band and what made them play music in the first place. The album has a real "garage band" kind of flavor to it with the contrast of being performed by professionals that have played together for over thirty years. If you're a hard core Rush fan (like me) you need to give this album a listen. As mainstream as most of these songs are, the typical classic rock afficianado will enjoy this album too.
